The Association has some equipment available for rental. If you wish to rent any of this equipment please contact the relevant officer below.
All our honey extractors are available for rent at £2.00 per day; payable in advance upon collection of the extractor. Additional days will be charged at £2 per day (whether part or whole) and will be payable upon the return of the extractor. Please try NOT to overrun as others may be waiting!!!!
1. Please contact the Quartermaster to arrange hire of the equipment. He will complete a hire form at the time of collection.
2.Clean the extractors FIRST with COLD water to remove the excess wax and honey and then with WARM water to rinse off. Dry the extractor with a clean towel or paper towels.
3.Remember to bring all the bits back with you!!!
4.PLEASE BRING THE EXTRACTORS BACK IN THE SAME CONDITION AND AT THE SAME SETTINGS AS YOU HIRED IT.
5.If you have an accident or the extractor is broken whilst it is with you please let the quartermaster know so that it can be repaired – accidents happen and the sooner we know about it the sooner we can get it repaired. A small charge may be levied depending on the damage.
