The New Forest & District Beekeepers Association cover the whole of New Forest from Fordingbridge, Downton and Bramshaw in the north down to the south coast and West to East ? Ringwood to Hythe. We base ourselves in Lyndhurst at the heart of the New Forest where we hold our teaching and have a divisional apiary.

Whether you are a beekeeper new to the area, new to beekeeping or someone just looking for a fun community to join we welcome new members to our current membership of around 150+ people.
NF&DBKA is a division of Hampshire Beekeepers Association, which consists of fourteen divisions; these being Andover & District, Avon Valley, Basingstoke, Fareham & District, Fleet & District, Meon Valley, Meridian, New Forest, Petersfield & District, Portsmouth, Romsey & District, Southwest Hampshire, Southampton & District, Winchester & District and Hampshire Beekeepers.
By joining our division you will get advice, support and practical experience about keeping bees. Annual membership provides you with our own monthly newsletter, membership of the HBKA and the BBKA (British Beekeepers Association), including the beekeeping monthly magazines BBKA News and insurance in case you lose your bees as a result of American or European foul brood diseases, as well as access to a range of equipment to hire including honey extractors and heather presses.
We hold regular meetings to keep members informed about current practices in beekeeping methods during the winter months. We run a Introductory to Beekeeping course each year click here for more information.

We also run a a Beekeeping Improvers course designed to support you taking the BBKA basic exam; this practical assessment tests the basic skills and knowledge of the craft once you have kept bees for over one year.
